Our Hotel Rooms - The Furniture

The main reason of the furniture we place in a hotel room, is to be making your stay comfortable, give you a homey feeling and a minimal challenge to be dealing with, create flawless little spaces for each task.

It is rather a simplistic way of saying "thank you, we designed the space easy for you to navigate around, and we hope there is nothing in your way"

During the years, I leaned that people will change the furniture around and, no matter what we do, everyone has an idea they like you to listen to and eventually expect you to change around the furniture according to their suggestions.

The hotel owners, proprietor or whatever you feel like calling us, have a greater responsibility that many can think of! In everything we do, at least 99% of the time, we will have you in mind: when we furnish the room, when designing that, when we decorate, with every move and purchase we are taking in consideration how functional that is, how that particular product services the purpose of making your stay comfortable, how handy is to have appliances placed in a particular spot in the room...

We are people with knowledge, - or all of us should be, knowledge of interior design, - color coordination, educated ourselves and have the information on how our facility should have a lasting impression in your visit and, that should build great memories for you to remember for a long time.

So, as much as we love to listen to your suggestions, they are not always to the most's benefits and furniture is set in the room with a purpose, of design and comfort in mind!

Cancellation policy at small properties

I would expect everyone to be a little considerate and be aware of our cancellation policy.

Assumption doesn't work to well with such a large industry; this involves a little of your time and you can avoid any inconvenience that might arise at a later time.

"Cancellation policies tend to be stricter at small B&Bs than at big hotels, and with good reason, said Bill Carroll, senior lecturer at the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.

Cancel your reservation at a four-room B&B at the last minute, and the innkeepers lose 25% of the night's income, compared with just one-half percent at a 200-room hotel, Carroll said.

Although policies vary widely, Sandy Soule, vice president for marketing at BedandBreakfast.com, a marketing service for nearly 10,000 B&Bs, said many B&Bs charge one night's rate or 50% of the total stay -- whichever is more -- if you cancel less than a week before your stay."

The Small Business Ownership

As the owner/proprietor of a small business, family owned and operated, I realized that we have to keep our patrons informed; I am listing a few items here that should help.

This is more like talking about the disadvantage to our customer and also what it is expected from you - as a customer.

I determine that if I put "
This is a Family Owned & Operated Small Business!" on each or my business page, people might get the idea, that the property is operated differently; and it is.

With such property you can expect that the place has limited staff; hours of operation might be limited as well.

Please review all info on the business page for details of this nature, that will eliminate any confusion that might throw you off, your expectations might be accurate if you will have the knowledge and please DO NOT Make any ASSUMPTIONS - ever, in life.

I don't envision this will crate any inconvenience for you. All it takes is to be informed; ask questions if you didn't have a chance to search for the property's web page.
